wait, so now they are even removing the ability to do all crafting, why did they even call this TES?!? And no, I dont want to hear that this is an "mmo not a single player game" because there have been MMOs that allowed you to do ALL of the crafting skills.

There is no reason for this...this genre is crippled by developers that cant get their heads out of the box they created over a decade ago.

complete bull

it is a long hard road if you want to mastercraft in all areas but it should be an option - pointless otherwise for a crafter

"allowing everying player to master all types of crafting is junk and doesn't work" - guess what, not every player is interested in crafting but those that are should now avoid this game

razor247 writes: In real life are there people who can master every craft? NO! Quit being stupid and dumbing games down. Make an alt if you want to master all crafts. Its adds longevity to the game instead of everyone becoming a master craftsman. Heaven forbid you talk to other players and trade or anything of that nature. I'm surprised your not asking to master every adventure class so you can cast a spell, shoot an arrow and block with a shield at the same time. I hope these feature makes you not try the game be one less idiot. Tue Mar 19 2013 11:40PM Report

I was afraid of this......

The social bits of an MMO shows us players that we are in a sea of stupid. At least during the solo games, you did not have to knowingly co-exist with nincompoops but those days are obviously over now.

Oh, they threaten to not play this game?

I see that as a promise I will hold them to :D

nate1980 writes: Just to comment on those saying you should be able to master all crafts. This IS an  MMO, so there has to be some features that foster community dependance. Otherwise, everyone could be a master crafter in everything, thus eliminating an ingame economy, which is important to most people that play this genre. Wed Mar 20 2013 11:55PM Report

I will wait until I get to work with the crafting system before I judge it to harshly.  For me the only down side would be if Crafting only becomes viable with Master Level and then only for one single Item of that Craft.   So many games promise crafting to be where players come to get the GOOD stuff, and then, when the game actually releases and people start to craft,  the items are only equal to what is found off drops, or even slightly less viable.

I do not  care as much about how many crafts I can do on a single character as much as I want my Crafted Items to be Desreable to players at ALL levels of My trade.  Not just at Max Level of the Craft.  IF AT ALL ..

Time will tell if they get it right.  SO few have that walk down this path.
