  • Is ESO Plus Membership Worth It?

Now that QuakeCon has passed we have a view as to what is in store for ESOTU. According to Matt Firor, they are planning to release a named DLC pack every 12 weeks. This is pretty epic, considering when they first announced ESO they said they wanted to adhere to a 4-6 week content patch system. While 12 weeks is double their original goal, we're not talking content patches anymore, we're talking named DLC packs and all that might entail.

  • With A New Roadmap, ESO Feels Back on Track

Zenimax has been sharing details about The Elder Scrolls Online's first DLC content, The Imperial City for about three weeks. Last week's QuakeCon presentation centralized all the details of the Imperial City all in one place, while also living up to the "Beyond" portion of the presentation's title with some new details about what to expect from both the game and its future DLC content.

  • Storyline vs Content

Now that we have a release date for Imperial City and according to Matt Firor, Wrothgar isn't far off either (early 2016), I want to pose a question to the community. This question is one that I'm still debating over and can't come to an actual decision on where I stand, or where I should stand.

  • The Imperial City And Beyond

Before the live (and livestreamed) presentation for The Elder Scrolls Online at QuakeCon 2015, I had a chance to sit with Game Director Matt Firor and ask him a few questions about the game and especially the upcoming Imperial City DLC. While most of what we talked about was covered in the later presentation. Where appropriate, I've augmented Firor's replies with a little extra context from the presentation.

The Imperial City DLC for Elder Scrolls Online will be arriving later this summer, but during today's QuakeCon, it was announced that three more DLC packages will be arriving, one each quarter. • Console Sales Are Good - So What’s Next for All Players?

Now that we're over a month since The Elder Scrolls Online's release on consoles, we have the next step: the announcement of the first major DLC update and how that will work, as well as hints at other features to come. It seemed like a good time to take a look at how ESO is faring on console, how PC is back on track, and what the Imperial City DLC may tell us about what we can expect from the game in the future.

  • Which Elder Scrolls Online Faction Should You Choose?

In this week's quiz, we're putting your tastes and likes to the test for Tamriel. You may be Aldmeri, you may be Ebonheart, or five of you might be Daggerfall. But what SHOULD you be? This quiz will help sort it out.

  • Enough With the Veteran Rank Ping Pong

Players of The Elder Scrolls Online who have been around for a while know that the game underwent many large changes over the past year. I have praised Zenimax for the dedication to making improvements and listening to the community on certain points during that time. Yet, now that we're getting our first hints at future content to come, with promises that mid-July will begin reveals about The Imperial City and more, Veteran Ranks are beginning to feel like a bit of a drag on the system.

  • Long Overdue PvP Changes Are Finally Happening

The Elder Scrolls Online is now, despite a few typical launch hiccups, a multiplatform release. Other than a few console launch matters, it finally begins to feel like all of the game's audience is being addressed again. While some felt cast aside in part due to the console announcements and stalled changes over the past three months, we're finally at the point where new announcements can happen.

  • The XP Boost Potion

Earlier this week, Monday to be exact, Zenimax implemented something that typically has a bit of controversy around it. Experience Boost potions, I'm completely against anything that increases your leveling experience however the way ZOS implemented it is probably one of the best ways I've seen it done.

  • The Console Version Review in Progress

It's been a long but insanely productive year for Zenimax Online Studios. Elder Scrolls Online came out, held its own, but was a rather contentious title for such a widely adored franchise. Fast forward several months and ESO is now buy to play, rebranded as "Tamriel Unlimited", and quite frankly, it's one of the best theme park MMORPGs on the market. And now it's also on the PS4 and XBOX ONE. So, how does it play?

  • What Console Players Should Know (And Why PC Players Should Be Happy)

Now that The Elder Scrolls Online has launched for console, the virtual holding pattern that the game has been in for the past few months should hopefully be ending soon. These months did bring us some idea of the general direction of what to expect for the console versions, but for many of us PC players, things have been in a general lull since update 6 was released, with talk having shifted to the console audience.
