I'll get standard preorder ... it is just a few bucks. But if there is something worth money in CE i'll buy CE for bonuses.

Will probably pre-order a standard addition, but I'd like to see some information being released soon. With the game coming this year I'm getting tired of asking the devs questions posts, let's start seeing the game....

Honestly, no idea. I am still in a wait and see mode for this one. I love TES series, but there's just something that isn't sitting well with me about this one. I want to be excited, but I can only stay mildly interested. I guess I'll need to see a lot more, and get some hands on beta action to getting a better idea of what I will do. |

There used to be two game companies where I would buy their games sight unseen: BioWare, and Bethesda. Scratch BioWare off the list, and now I won't buy ANY game until it has actually released, and I get to read reviews or play a trial myself. I think it is crazy to buy something before even getting to see it, and then expecting to get your money back if you don't like it. No other business operates like that, that I can think of. ------------ |

not buying this..
Its the same as any other mmo.. nothing new..
This mmo is made for one thing and one thing only.. burst sales on release..
Step 1: Get a good ip Step 2: make a decent mmo on current basic mechanics aka elements ingame Step 3: invest money on advertising Step 4 : launch game and try to get as many boxes sales as possible Step 5: die like the others..( depends slowly or not )
Succeed mmo? well based on the concept of burst sales combined with the ip.. they will prolly succeed to make money..
i have more respect for companies that trying new stuff |

Won't be buying it unless beta blows me away. Not interested in a TES-skinned DAoC, and there are plenty of other titles coming out in the same timeframe that will make it hard to justify buying even as a timekiller.

You forgot the most common 2013 option: "I'll wait until I've had a chance to play the beta" Never buy anything sight unseen...never will. |

Where's the Never option? I've personally never been able to get into any of TES games. I don't really like most PC-based RPGs. I think Mass Effect was one I could tolerate because it was FPS with some story elements. I'm a console gamer at heart so I'm sure that has something to do with it. |

I'll be waiting to decide until more info is out. It looks promising for my preferred playstyle, but I don't ever buy before I try anymore. Have they said what business model they're using yet? I didn't know if it was announced whether it's B2P, sub, or F2P yet. "Criticism is an indirect form of self-boasting." - Emmet Fox |

MMORPGs are no longer about the mass multi-user anymore *sadly* |

I'm a huge Elder Scrolls fan and love the lore and story. If they can pull off something close to Skyrim then myself and many others will be hooked. Since this will be such a high-profile game it should be much easier to judge the overall quality as well since coverage will be high. Not to mention I have very high-hopes of beta testing and should know a few months in if we'll have a winner or a dissappointment. |

I never pre order anything these days unless I have participated in beta or stress test or the game has released. If I have to wait till after release then so be it. I learned my lesson on this years ago with a game called Horizons, what a turkey that one was

I still want a lot more info on this one but most probably I pre-order standard edition. If it has even 1/3 of Skyrim fun I'll probably enjoy it.

Interesting. So far this poll shows me we get to avoid 14% of the Gimme gimme gimme, it's mine I want it all free *stamp feet* crowd right off the top. I like it! I'll probably preorder the standard edition. Currently Playing: Path of Exile, Everquest |

Depends on the business model. If it's B2P I will probably preorder it. If it's P2P I'll wait a few months til it goes F2P. |
