I first played GW at E3 in 2003... and preordered it the day it became available and have been in beta weekend events every months. This game is very entertaining! It plays like a single-player or cooperative team adventure game (similar to Baldur's Gate) for the PvE aspect of it - which is incredible and very fun... You get an advantage by playing a roleplaying character, but it's so much fun to explore and go through the quests, that you'll want to anyway. It's not a grind like SWG, EQ, WoW and all the others... The PvP / GvG (Guild vs. Guild -or- Group vs. Group) aspect of the game really shines, though. There is a ladder, and team combat truly relies on teamwork, communication and tactics. Combat is fun and doesn't go so fast that it leaves you wondering what just happened. I have found it hard to tear myself away from this game to eat or sleep - which is not something I'm used to doing, being a 37 year old woman.
