Good Fight.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I want to know more about GW2. From what I read on Wikipedia, its going to have a higher level cap and different playable races. So, will it be like WoW or will it continue to be like GW1? What I mean by that is, more Story based and the only places where you can meet up with other players is in towns, or will it be like just your normal MMO and be about leveling up?

I'm not sure which wiki you read, but you can find a lot of information on the official Guild Wars 2 wiki.

That being said, Guild Wars 2 will offer a persistent world, meaning that when you walk outside of a town/city you'll still see other players. However, instances will still be used to progress the storyline.

With regards to the leveling up, the level cap will be raised significantly. It won't, however, spoil the Guild Wars we love. There will be something known as a power level cap. Basically what this means is that player attributes (essentially their power) will be capped at level 20 for example, but they can go on gaining levels simply for cosmetic reasons. ArenaNet decided this as they wished to reward people who put much time and effort into a signle character without forcing anyone to grind.

Apart from the, obviously good place to go, GW2Wiki (see link above in Lydon's post) you can also check out the Faq posted by Anet as the most of your questions will be answered there, although new ones will probably arise quickly.
