quick question. i was in pre ascalon, and when i was standing in the city, i noticed that nobody had any of the other games' classes as their secondary. how does that work exactely than. I've seen people with main of say ritualist and secondary of maybe ranger. but when i was in pre ascalon i saw nobody with any of the other games professions as their secondary. is that not possible to have one of them as secondary, if you have one of the prophecies' professions first? given they have of the other games of course. thanks. |

As you may have noticed when creating your character, in Prophecies only the Elementalist, Mesmer, Ranger, Warrior, Necromancer and Monk are available. When you choose your secondary profession in Pre-Searing Ascalon, you go speak to an NPC relating to your secondary profession of choice and complete a few quests for them.
As a result of only those six professions being available in Prophecies, it is not possible to take Assassin, Ritualist, Paragon or Dervish as your secondary profession, simply due to the fact that these professions did not exist at the time Prophecies was released :)
The other four professions I mentioned can only be created in their related campaigns. In other words, you can only create an Assassin and Ritualist in Factions and a Paragon and Dervish in Nightfall. You can, of course, take your Prophecies character to any other campaign you own and as a result select a campaign-related secondary profession there. |
