Actually, Arenanet themselves call it a CORPG but anyways will GW2 be a real MMO, at least that what Jeff Strain said in PC gamer a few months ago.

That has been established a number of times, but as I said...it is widely considered as an MMO.

GW2 better not be Build Wars 2. Like, 90% of GW PvP is what build you go in with, which makes trying to organize 8 people together and get them to play their part for a guild battle near impossible. And many PvE parties will scoff at a non-overused build in some of the elite PvE areas.

What sets Guild Wars apart from all other generic MMOs out today is the fact that it got something different; builds and heavily oriented tactical aspect. If they remove that part Guild Wars won't be Guild Wars but just another attempt to make WoW 2. 8 people for a guild battle is not very hard, getting together a decent team won't take very long and once you got one together you should be fine with it for a long time.

I'll be there on day 1 in beta, and the Pre Order and take a day or two off work.  i just bought a new system just for GW2, so I can take anything they throw at me.
