So I want to give GW another try, mainly to pass the time till the next WoW patch. I have all the expansions however I never got too far into the story in either of them. I was thinking of making a Dervish so I would have to start in Nightfall.

I was wondering, once I finish Nightfall and go to EotN how lost will I be in the story of EotN? From what I read EotN is a sequel to the Prophecies stories.

You won't get that feeling of meeting old acquaintances again, that's pretty much it. There are some references to the lore of the original campaign, but nothing game breaking.
