try maxing out one of those 8 lvl 20s you have, and i dont mean lvl wise, i mean cap all elites, unlock all skills for all classes  with 1 character (even the ones you do not need) get titles, faction rank, (kurzick,luxon, sunspear, lightbringer,azuran,vanguard,norn,dwarven) get the extra 15 atribute points, max out your character

 

 

I have a monk with lots max titel, black dyed elite kurzick and black dyed eotn mask. But it costed me 150k to gain a rush trhough all proph missions+bonus till desert which I needed to take cause noone was there to do them with :S And be honest doing the missions with lvl 20's from you guild sucks....there isn't any difficult that way :P Also noone looks for quests anymore and since the perma form the whole gw economie is bad ectos droped over 2k etc......

Did you just say you paid to rush through content and then go on to say you wont play with max level guild mates because it's too easy?

And 70% dont agree. And still it is meaningless to talk about it in a generalising way(unless they turn off the servers for good of course).

Only players that get bored with a MMO post something like this. These kind of threads are started all the time and about every MMO. As long as the servers are up, the game is alive. Just maybe not for you, that was my point.

BTW, I dont play GW (anymore) and I dont care if it lives or dies. To me it is obvious though that it lives, just by checking the websites that have a GW forum.

Here is why Guild Wars died for me. They announced Guild Wars 2. My heart heart just wasn't in it anymore. Yeah there are titles but it's jut to get an item or something in GW2 and that's not enough for me to grind them to the max.

They never should have announced Guild Wars 2 so early since it still seems so far off. Don't get me wrong I can't wait for Guild Wars 2! I think it will be amazing according to what the team did with Guild Wars. But yeah now I just want to play that and not Guild Wars.

Anet won't release more information for quite a while, it's their main strategy. The only reason they announced GW2, is because they were going to release its prologue (eotn). Might get quite irritating, but just be patient. It's one of the only companies I know they won't screw up. Especially now the founders of Anet are also the 'leaders' of NC West, says something about the '1337 skillz' they have. ;)

They should give the current players some new content to keep us busy though, just a few new PvP arenas could easily kepe me busy for another year.

Although the game still has a very good pop, I do feel that the game is dying. It is dying as we all do. Slowly but surely. When GW2 comes out GW may become a ghost game.

In the beginning of title grinding there was no EotN. When EotN came out, people preferred grinding the new titles (especially the titles that enhance your PVE skills)

In the past I had the same problems. Now I found a good guild. Life in Guild Wars is completely different with that guild.

I played all major 'MMO(RPG)s and i am SURE that it's not always the game's fault. It's always the community.

Last part of my comment: Guild Wars is a PVP game. Its PvE is quite limited, so I can understand why the games looks dead for you.

One question for you: you have all addons, right? ^^

Ofcourse I have but i already stopped playing cause they ruin the whole game with their skill updates (perma form, ursan nerf which makes my monk useless to play as mission runner now, etc).....
