For a browsergame it does look decent but that isn't saying much. Seriously, shame on the devs AND the author for burning that awesome IP for such a rubbish.

I said it almost a year ago when they announced BigPoint making a Game Of Thrones game. It was going to be complete rubbish & instanced to hell like BSG online.

Now, look at the EXACT thing that they did for BSG, only for GOT now. GG, a worthless P2W piece of crap now :I!

What complete and utter garbage. I expected more out of HBO, and the author. The shows and the novels are amazing, but the lack of attention to solid gameplay mechanics and crappy graphics is devastating to say the LEAST.

This looks horrible. I am blown away that this isn't funded correclty to be a AAA sandbox hybrid. What a huge waste of time and money.

A complete waste of resources. And people complain about TSW's animations? LOL. Looks like a bunch of medieval robots jerkily moving about.

If you have read the books post book two there is nowhere to go but down and for me at least this same downward spiral of crap is seen in every game based upon this series.

Trying to make a MMO set during the 'War of Five Kings' seems like a terrible idea.

Anyone who has read the books or watched up to the current season knows how it ends.

They would have been far better setting it in the distant past where magic and dragons were more active in Westeros, it would have added far greater freedom for development and had a greater diversity of enemies and classes.

They're whoring this incredible IP out to a browser based RPG? Are people just full blown retard up in the gaming industry? Looks like shite.

This could have been an outstanding mmorpg.  But developers hate factions and god knows Game of Thrones would have too many sides to join where it would be utter cheese to fake the lore like they do in other mmorpgs.  Horsemen wouldn't be at the Wall, for example, just like a knight of the seven kingdoms (other than D's companion) would not be joining the Horsemen.  You'd have to have at least 3 factions, and with the 7 kingdoms, potentially more.  Too much depth and thought for an mmorpg. It would literally take the original Dark Age of Camelot team to figure it out since they matered the only true faction v faction v faction medieval fantasy mmorpg of all time.

tbh i think it is a smart thing, i mean seein gthat people here are bashing it already yet have only seen such a small part of the game, imagine if they did spend millions on another AAA title and have it fail like every other game on the market of recent, what kind of shit would they cop of you all for that? i think they are playing this smart, if they get a mild interest they will probably convert it to a major title if not they will still have there success from the books/show.

These kinds of comments are why we are stuck with the same boring ass MMO's that plague us year in abd year out, because as soon as someone tries to do anything remotely different they cop shit for it, i say shame on us as a community.

The problem isn't the money invested. The problem is the company, and direction, they chose to go with it. All in all a horrible decision. Heck, they could have given the IP to a small company and made the budget only a couple million, and it would have been EONS better than what was shown in this video.

After years of testing/playing MMOs you get a good feel for a game from videos, but sometimes (like GW2) you just have to try it for yourself. This is not one of those situations....
