Blacklight Retribution is an upcoming free-to-play MMOFPS from developer Zombie Studios and publisher Perfect World Entertainment. Currently in beta testing, BR is being made with DirectX 11 and the Unreal 3 engine, setting it up to be a very distinctive free-to-play shooter. BR has already won several awards, including “Best Multiplayer” from Machinima.com, and Most Valuable Game from PC Gamer.

Designed to be a fast-paced action shooter, BR quickly sets up players in a combat role, with their choice of weapon and equipment loadout, and drops them into a wide selection of strategic map locations for battle. Setting itself apart from other shooters, BR makes use of the HRV (Hyper Reality Visor), in game weapon depots, and the mech-like Hardsuit.
