Snail Games has announced that it is bringing a new MMO to North Americans. Called 'Age of Wushu', the game takes place during 2000 years of Wuxia in China. Developers also have said that the game does not rely on levels and classes.

Game: Age of Wushu
Age of Wushu = Age of Wulin?
Different game or just a different publisher publisher who changed the name of the game for whatever reason?
I found a scene that is identical to one in the promotional video for Age of Wulin (guy jumping from a snow bridge/cliff)

Yes please!
Fri Jan 06 2012 12:35PM Reportbye bye lvl grind, welcome heavy skill grind. ITs a korean mmorpg, you cant expect them to make a game without grind , cant you?
Everyone that believes something ells -believe more, thats what developers do-make you believe in a tasty cake but offers some shit on the table.
Fri Jan 06 2012 1:17PM ReportWas gonna try this game but then i saw them running on the water.
Fri Jan 06 2012 2:03PM ReportHaven't I seen this game thousands of times now?
Fri Jan 06 2012 2:30PM Reportyes, and you will see it a billion times more. They invest heavy amount of marketing. But like all heavy market produkts, they offer low quality shit. And for a game that will come out and is still in beta testing in korea- it looks like it was made 2000. Poor korean garbage. I hope they go bankrupt.
Fri Jan 06 2012 2:44PM ReportWon't play Korean games...ever.

dude! please! i dont know you are lying or you really dont know that this is a Chinese game.
P.S.
if you find out that it's similar to another game because they are the same game. but "Age of Wulin" is for players in Eu, and "Age of Wushu" is for player in North America.
Fri Jan 06 2012 8:13PM ReportHalf of you children are to young to understand that some of us have fond memories of kung fu movies and will play this game just because.
Can we say saturday mornings.
Nostalgia ftw.
Sat Jan 07 2012 1:08AM ReportI'm confused. Why are people calling this a korean game? It's not made by Koreans. Suzhou Snail Electronic Co. Ltd, the worlds premier developer of MMO browser games, located in China. Snail Games USA is a division of Suzhou Snail Electronic Co. Ltd.
So, gear your minds toward that fact.
@ munecaroon Yes! Age of Wushu and Age of Wulin are the same game. Age of Wulin: Legend of the Nine Swords is provided to Europeans by GPotato. Atleast, that's all the information i've gathered and reaffirming what bondnmuscle said.
Sat Jan 07 2012 5:07AM ReportThis game might be some competition to ArcheAge in my opinion.
Let´s see how Gpotato can ruin it. ;)
Sun Jan 08 2012 6:22AM ReportWhy Snail Games to host this? I am sorry this company is not ready nor do they have the Man Power to fix or keep a game going. Those of us who played there browser games and a client game called "The Chosen" know perfectly well..Beside that ,you be lucky to see a Gm in any of there Games..
The name of the Company suits them well..They are really a Snail and takes forever to get a Answer or Fix a Bug and hardly see a Gm in game..
Not saying the games suxs.Just what i mention above suxs..
Sun Jan 08 2012 7:47PM ReportThe change in setting is nice, but likely going to be like most imports from the far east, old and shitty. Its not that they dont make good games in china and Korea, its just F2P developers tend to import cheat shitty ones.
Mon Jan 09 2012 1:03AM ReportIts a intresting production, I suspect it to be backedup by the goverment to some extent whit their wish to show more of the culture in entertainment products.
8 player fraction (pvp) skill based, dynamic quest "grind"system that alters how the world reponds to you, random boss encounters. Player becomming npc after logoff
its a intresting tittle.
The following might be ultra cool or very boring, but neat nontheless

Tue Jan 10 2012 4:23AM Reportgood to hear age of wulin (wushu) comes to north america. i hate grinder mmos but i love asian mmos, so i play them no matter what.
Thu Jan 12 2012 12:35AM ReportIt definatly seems like a step in the right direction , il definatly check it out. It wont re-invent the wheel but then again what MMO does nowadays no reason to bash it harder than another.
