There are many ways to solve problems that may arise in Wushu. I'm a blacksmith, poison maker, and hunter by trade. There is a method at which I approach these problems.

As many of you know, Wushu is a FFA game with harsh penalties for those who break the law, the law of Wushu, and the law of Jianghu customs. The champion of the Mount Hua Tournament (monthly 1v1), the Western Poison, the Head Master of Wanderers Valley (his formal titles), had broken many laws of each.

The Western Poison, once holder of the Heavenly Blade had grown drunk off power. He's arrogance crossed all bounds. Dirty deals, false imprisonment, and murder are common place. Last night he and his goons falsely imprisoned my sister (a female charter friend of equal stature), he had broke Jianghu law. This while he himself had carried a bounty for days. I'm no saint myself, by Wushu standards, litterly atrocious (my alignment) but I do not break Jianghu law. Let the hunt begin!

I contacted my friend early this afternoon and said let's arrest him. This would be no small task, the Western Poison's technique is strong, plus he has learned a source of awesome inner power, Purple Rosy Clouds. If that alone is not enough, he is seldom with out his goons.

I began to put together a team. I sent a carrier pigeon (not really, I pm'd, but I could have) to a Royal Guard, masters of the chain claw for control, a Wanderer who would gladly betray and silence his Head Master, and another Tangmen from my sister and my sect, we would deal the damage with poison smeared darts.

The opportunity for the three others came on short notice, they were into their own matters and would join us in Chengdu shortly. In the meantime my sister and I went to the Chengdu Adminstrator and paid the 5 taels to become Constables. We decided to hunt him, and keep an eye on him until the others came., or if the circumstances would arrive, go for the arrest.

The hunt didn't take long. True to form, The Western Poison was in the center of town, near the bank, with his bounty, with two goons. On top of that he was sparing with someone. His arrogance truly had no bounds. My sister and I watched as he spared, me from a roof top over looking the intersection, and her from around a corner near. We watched as he spared taking nearly no damage, not once, not twice but three times. The third time he had let his guard down and was taking damage. Our opportunity was near.

Seeing this my sister said we should go now he will heal soon. Being a hunter and a poison maker, I know when pray is weak. I told her "wait." Our pry still had plenty of fight. "Just a little longer and this will be a clean arrest." She paused, the next thing I know, she next to him, street level throwing her darts smeared with one of my nastier slow poisons. He told her "you have 30 secs to leave before I kill you." I jumped down from the roof launching my darts.

As soon as the Western Poison felt my darts then saw me, he turned filled with rage. In an instant he charged using an ancient style. I blocked the blow, but was knocked back. He pounced, broke my block, and unleashed the Ancient Tai Chi Rage. I was stunned as blue ball grew within his swirling hands. Helpless I was tossed forth then back. True to form, he then switched to the Wanderers Valley double blade style, Wind Chasing Blade. I was silenced as he continued his assault. I quickly slid away to regain my footing.

All the while sis was delivering multiples of mean darts that where now taking there toll. As I turned to begin my second assault, The Western Poison ran, knowing the situation was hopeless. We gave chase, but we where too late, he had ran into the pretty girls house (this where you try on different clothing designs) the only safe point in all the cities of Wushu. He had escaped literally, an inch from arrest.

The lesson had been served though, and he now knows things aren't as safe as he thought they were. He stood looking from out the pretty girls house speechless. I told my sis "Let's go, we will get another chance. He's too arrogant not to give us another shot."

      Desperately the headmaster ran, ran across the raging water, poison in her veins weakening her limbs as she fled, she was running low on flying chi near a cave entrance and leaped towards it with the last of her strength. The Western Poison gasped for breath as she limped into the cave, her pursuers couldn't be far behind her, but in the raging storm they might not have noticed her tracks from her leaving the river.

    She leaned up against a damp cave wall, the wet silk of her clothes clinging to her figure, illuminated only by the occasional flash of lightning from outside the cave.  Lightning that now gleaned off the darts in Hemlock's hands as she strutted into the cave.  With a rolling dodge Feedz evaded the darts thrown by Hemlock, followed by more darts, then some more darts, then at some point darts were thrown, it wasn't very clear but I'm pretty sure darts were involved.

     Feedz activated her reversal chi with the Peacock's Plum technique which rendered Hemlock's dart techniques into harmless acupuncture.  Feedz lunged towards Hemlock wielding her deadly dual blades, when suddenly this insanely intense mmo combat was interrupt by a thunderous crash as a boulder blocked the exit!

    The combat had ignited an even more primal hunger in the two women, who could no longer contain their passions.  Soon the cave echoed with moans of ectasy and luscious juices dripped to the floor adding their dampness.

    "Sooo good." Moaned Hemlock as she savored the sensations upon her tongue.

     Feedz looked up at her and winked salaiously needed air before continuing to savor the deliciousness of the buffet before her, "Truly this is the best food I've eaten, where did you learn to cook this well?"

     "Oh I went to MrPibbleton's recipe stall in Suzhou, it has the lowest prices and widest variety of dishes in Jianghu, suitable for any occasion or level of cooking ability!"

      As the two former combatants savored the deliciousness of peace and friendship inside the cave, the boulder rustled gently in the wind and its paper grew damp with rain and the gentle and wise whoopy was content with a job well done.

No story this time. No planning,  too easy. Like I said "He's too arrogant not to give another shot". He was in the same spot doing the same thing. gg

Great story, but it brings to light something that is slowly taking me away from the game. This criminal you were stalking is of the same breed we contend with on Red Phoenix, a character who has spent thousands of real world dollars to bring his stats to the absolute max. I play ALOT, I have held an elder title for weeks but only until one of these gold buyers decides to compete. Parrys that cant be broken, dps thats nearly impossible to survive within seconds, it really is the worst p2w situation I have ever seen in an MMO.

For all the complaints about WoW or GW2 etc at least in those games once max lv is reached and some epic drops come your way, everyone is basically on the same even keel and it comes down to keybinds/lag/player skill as it should be.

AoW does not follow this formula, the player with the most $ will dominate unless ganged up on with smart use of cc...its really really bad with these rich guys.

I'm pretty sure Feedz hasn't ever payed for anything with real money, he just has excellent technical skills, a good pvp move set from WV, does a lot of dungeon runs for loot, duels often, fights in mass pvp regularly and saves money by visiting MrPibbleton's stalls now with a Chengdu location.

First Mount Hua was won by a sub only player. Second Mount Hua was won by a gold buyer. Wushu is a funny game in that if someone gave me 10k to spend last year when I started and said "hey it's free spend it" I would have wasted 10k and had a misbuilt toon. Give that same 10k to me now, and I might have about 40 more stats, a couple ancient sets, and my Jianghu internal done.

As it stands now, I have a Jianghu internal nearly leveled, still about a month to go, main stat capped gear, and a nice chunk of ding (1k silver) in the bank. I did this and never bought gold.

Don't get me wrong, cash can speed things up, more than I like. That being said, those four or five illegal gold buyers, and whales are at most, after a year, one month ahead of me. That one month wont save their life though. I nabbed this bum solo.

In short, play smart, think ahead. Make sure your plan. Save most your ding, and work towards your plan. Spend a little of your hard earned ding on your internal skill, not just gear and skills. Sometimes I think about the all the ding I've wasted this past year on flashy cool stuff, and world stalls. If I would have been given this same advice, people would think I was an illegal ding buyer. Hang in there brother. Out think them (think about it, they have to be pretty dumb). Out play them

He has pibbs. He's talked about it in Shinobi Teamspeak before. Don't ger me wrong, he's no GreatEast, Mutou, or Petmako, he plays them game well. He's kinda like the really good baseball player that uses illegal steroids and becomes great. GreatEast and Mutou are the average ball player who becomes good, or atleast strong ;)

Sometimes those Chinese mythical martial artist names sounds so bad after being translated into English for some reason lol :P

"Western Poison" sounds awesome when it is in original chinese, it is a 2 syllable word. However in English it is a 4 syllable word and sounds like a chemist, lol.

I had a lot of fun playing this game until a certain guild came onto my server. Then I found out that my crafting/ exploring/ have fun playing came smack dab against a certain set of people that showed me a free for all open world PVP game can not coexist with my approach. I haven't logged in since then.

In English, we can just call him "Venom" for better effect

The five champions of Mount Hua are usually represented by a 11 syllable phrase in Chinese  - I  would translate this to English as such:

Behold, the
Evil of the east,
Venom of the west;
King of the south,
Tramp of the north;
and in the center, the Prescient-one
