Grinding Gear Games has announced that Path of Exile will expand this December with the debut of its third act. The developers promise that act three will add 50% more content to the game world. Act Three's debut will coincide with the launch of the game's open beta.

The developer has also announced that Path of Exile has drawn over $1.2m in crowd-funded support. Path of Exile is currently in closed beta, though gamers can gain access by pre-purchasing $10 USD of of credit for the game's 'ethical microtransactions'.
