Path of Exile is a free-to-play persistent online action MMO from Grinding Gear Games that puts players in the role of an exile from your homeland, stranded on the treacherous continent of Wraeclast. With gameplay similar to Diablo and Drakensang, players must survive this post-apocolyptic fantasy world either solo or by teaming up with other exiles. The realistic, visceral combat and gritty artstyle will help immerse players in this cutthroat survivalist game world.
Last week was a big one for the Path of Exile team with the huge announcement that one of the most beloved ARPGs will soon become a truly multi-platform game. In addition, the amazing community talent competition came to a close with so much awesome work that Grinding Gear has decided to hand out even more prizes. It was a great week to be an Exile!
Grinding Gear has announced that Path of Exile will be heading to XBox One later in 2017. The XB1 version will come complete with all five expansions including the new 3.0 content that will be launching for PC in the next few months.

The Path of Exile team is continuing a retrospective look back at how the game has evolved since its announcement in 2010. In a new post on the official site, the team shows off PoE's earliest trailers with a promise to bring even more from the history of the game at a later date. You can see the announcement trailer from September 2010 all the way through the cinematic release trailer in October 2013 in this first installment.
