Final Fantasy XI News - Fourth Census Published

Square Enix has published their 4th census on the people playing Final Fantasy XI. The figures are astonishing. Here are the highlights of the report:
- There are now over 500,000 active and paying accounts
- There are 1,200,000 registered characters
- The average Japanese player has 3-4 characters while the average North American player has 1-2 characters
