Final Fantasy XI News - Tournament Playoffs

The makers of Final Fantasy Xi, the online addition to the rich Final Fantasy franchise have announced that their Ballista Royale tournament is off to a great start. Now that the preliminaries are over, they're moving on to the playoffs:

We're proud to announce the next step in the exciting Ballista Royale tournament. The preliminaries are over and now it's time for the playoffs! The Ballista Royale Playoffs will pit two of the four teams against each other for five straight matches. The first team with three wins in each conference will then proceed to the live championship at Fan Festival 2006. The playoffs begin on Saturday, January 7th, so don't miss your chance to watch them live via Live Vana'diel!
