Thia is my favorite mmoprg of all times by far, played 6 years and loved every moment. Resubed a month ago and decided to level up jobs I didn't level before like red mage black mage and white mage. Soloed to 20 all of them and when it came to looking for party I seeked for 2 weeks everyday(2 hours/day) and never got a /tell at all so sadly deactivated my acount again. Averege player number in Gilgamesh server at any given time were 800-1100 which is low number, I remeber being at 3000+ back in the days.

Forget to mention when I was looking for party I was trying to create my own party even with level sync so I would /sea all 13-49 invite and would see like 3-4 players seeking and all of them were whm or sch or rdm.

I really enjoyed this mmorpg as well, and unfortunately I quit for the same reason (not being able to find groups in a reasonable amount of time).  I love grouping, but perhaps a tools similar to Warhammer Online's for finding/joining groups would help this game.

You Should try Fenrir Its got a pretty good pop. and the only time I have had an issue (past the ocassional slump) not finding a party was at the later hours...on average theres about 1500-2000 and I have seen a couple of weekends with around 2300+. If you decide to give it another go look up DeadlyUnrest. The LS is mostly made up of people returning to FF11 and helping each other out where possible. anywho Im glad I came back :)

Yeah campaign, fields of valor(or whatever), and level sync has pretty much put a damper on pug grouping.

FFXI for life though xD
