So i bought the most recent FFXI collection on steam, went through the process of making a Square Enix account and a PlayOnline account and then registering the key i got with my steam purchase only to find when i went through all the registration process and got to the log in screen it tells me i have no content ID and need to purchase one.

Maybe im just missing something here but its a tad confusing, can anybody help? I thought it came with 30 free days?

edit: turns out that i had to actually pay for a sub AND a character slot which was why i got confused, its odd i don't know why they don't include the one character slot in the base account.
