FYI, there's been reports of people getting their accounts stolen thanks to trojans they got by visiting FFXI fansites which were recently hacked by Chinese gilsellers.  One of those was ffxiah.com which was infected for two hours.

Please be careful browsing or downloading.  Make sure you have active trojan and virus scanners.  My recommendations: AVG (http://www.grisoft.com/), Avast! (http://www.avast.com/), ProcessGuard (http://www.diamondcs.com.au/processguard/), Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoft.com/))

Not that this problem is limited to FFXI only.  In fact, mmorpg.com seems to get hacked with a trojan targeted at WOW players like every couple of months.

As to the note about somepage.com you should back it up with the facts. More then one site was hacked in the FFXI community a few months back. Square did several software patches for the passwords on the game, plus the Flash & Real Player fixed there add ons to not allow the hack anymore. Posting to forums is great, but posting something like that without a shred of information is just not useful to anyone. The hacks never effected anyone using Firefox btw only Explorer as usual and more the 50% of the players do not own a copy of the PC version so they do not type the password and it never effected there gameplay. Please refer to the documents posted by Playonline about all this for the facts on more then one of the sites on this listing.
