Join your guild/linkshell "Rapture" we are a fast-growing primarily North American accepting other english speakers guild. We are a guild has both properties of a family and hardcore. Our linkshell is called “Rapture” we are going to be one of the first to create an online guild community for others to know for a lifetime. As the title states, come on over to a newfounded LS/Guild or whatever it will be called when FFXIV goes live. We are growing, the website is looking nice, and basically it will be great to have a “family” to enter the game at launch with. It is successful to distribute the population among server evenly for FFXI.. so SE will do it again for sure. SO keeping a guild together will be "hellish" once again. none

Well they stated that they wanted a safe transition between FFXI and FFXIV dealing with communities. I hope we can just be with our friends and won't need a world pass in order to get into our friend's server.

Why would a game company learn from its mistakes and then repeat them in their next gen game? Give me a break. Use your brains people. If they fixed it so server selection is client based for FFXI I HIGHLY doubt they will not let that remain for FFXIV. Still don't see why people are hung up on this, this hasn't been an issue for FFXI for about 4 years now.
