The official site for Wish has just updated their bestiary with a new entry from the gnome historian Kitterwen, in which he examines the goblin's larger cousin, the Hobgoblin.

"The hobgoblin is a larger cousin of the goblin and, as a consequence, proportionately more powerful. They have a strong sense of smell and can often scent an enemy before they see it. Once battle is engaged, hobgoblins go into a state of berserk savagery and usually will fight until the end. Hobgoblin territory is normally well known in local circles and it's always a good idea to ask around about such things before heading out into the wilderness."
