Wish News - Bestiary Addition: The Lamia

Following up on yesterday's Lamia Lair screenshots, today the Wish bestiary section features the lamia herself:
 "The lamia's lair is actually not a lair at all, but a historically significant structure for both the Larocian humans and the Cladashite dwarves. Considered to be a point of powerful ley energies by the elusive lamia, the structure was built thousands of years ago to house an oracle which they chose from amongst their own kind through some mysterious means. These oracles have traditionally served any who present themselves without violence, regardless of their moral or ethical natures. The lamia oracles have played important roles throughout history and the formation of the human and dwarven nations as we know them today. Ancient folklore claims Laroc the Black consulted with the lamia multiple times during his extensive campaign to unite the tribes and there are documented cases of a number of Cladashite kings from the latter part of the Age of Portent seeking their guidance. It is worthy to note, however, that the oracles' prophecies rarely come without a price, whether the petitioner realizes it or not." -Kitterwen |
