I haven't played both games, but if any game was going to succeed at the agenda both games aspired to succeed at, I felt and feel strongly DNL can do it.

And yeah I am patting myself on the back, you don't get these opportunities very often. So let me enjoy it :P

And what do you mean by that? Because I play MXO I can't appreciate a fantasy game?

I've worked on over 20 fantasy MUDs, and I have designed over 70 areas on those games myself. I love D&D Forgotten Realms and I'm an avid fan of Drow. I love fantasy -- but I don't play fantasy MMOs. You may ask, why? (If you care even) Because they haven't changed yet. They still follow the EQ formula. Or they still harken back to MUDs, and extremely strict class systems. (attempting to balance classes in pve and pvp is a futile effort in my opinion, kudos to Wish on circumventing that one :P)

When they start changing I'll start taking more of an interest -- and I have, with Dark and Light, and perhaps Tabula Rasa. And MAYBE if Turbine can get their shit together, Middle Earth Online. Don't pigeonhole me into black / white proportions. Lots of people appreciate both sci fi and fantasy, they aren't too far apart you know.
