I was in beta 1, I didnt like it at all.  Mostly because it took to much thinking for what I was interested in at the time. It also was not what I had expected and although I was a tester, I didnt feel much like testing at that time.

In beta 2 however I was prepared for what to expect.  I came in with the attitude that I was just here to test.  I started to like it right away, decent character options.  The more I played the more I liked it.  If it was released now I would buy it as is.  The amount that I played, several days, I relised that I had just began to see and understand what was going on.  The game had alot of depth, alot more then what I had expected. 

Agreed, I liekd it enough and thought it was complete enough, crashing and server status eside, to P2P. The Live Content was just great. I didnt like it a whole lot at first but the more i played it the more I liked it.

I was enjoying the testing yes the graphics and bugs were a problem but i wrote it off as this game is still under construction. I definately would have bought it at retail had they ironed the bugs out even with the crappy PnC because im so damn tired of devs taking the easy way out and making a level based game.

Level based games to me are like how scientists teach rats to run through a maze. If the rat takes a correct turn they are awarded with a piece of cheese until finaly the rat can complete the whole maze. In a level based game players get new spells or able to wear better gear(the cheese) untill at the end they are the highest level and they get the best gear..

.Skill based gameing needs to be considered in future MMO's nd i was hoping Wish would take care of that area for me but i guess it wont be happening....

I would of payed just for beta test...yeah server crashes and stuff but I just wanted to get back in game and the server would come back up...now it isn't comming back up...It sucks...

I would seriously pay for this game as it was...didn't even get to explore the 1/4 of the map releaved for this beta...Top game and MutableRealms were onto a winner...

LOL Sygma careful bro your game isnt out yet.... JK I think MxO will be fine it will have its niche market that will give the game a decent start where it goes from there will depend on how good the game is. Cant you atleast have a little sympathy for the many people who WERE looking forward to Wish???

The game had potential, but for some reason the devs seem to have been inept to utilise the potential. A pity, but there is still the best ever game left, and it's scheduled for release at the end of April.

R.I.P. Wish, you were overshadowed by the largest MMORPG ever, and by all means the best ever.

Rofl touche Ra've, but not quite. I mean at times with the two delays not far apart from each other sometimes in the back of my head I wonder if they would cancel MXO. But, you know, WB loves The Matrix it made them a lot of money and its obvious they're really backing the game financially, they would have had them release it by now.

But I don't believe MXO is a niche game I dunno where that idea comes from. It's a sci fi game its simply mainstream parallel EQ and any other fantasy game. SWG isnt a niche game, its the same thing, The Matrix is much like the 90's version of Star Wars.

I don't have sympathy for the people who were looking forward to Wish but I have sympathy for the developers who DO read these boards as I've seen before and are likely now out of a job. They also must be hurt by my sometimes piercing criticisms of the game, and so I feel a bit bittersweet about my 'prediction' coming true. If you guys are reading out there, best of luck to whatever future endeavors you undertake!
