I just downloaded the client and went through the install. That seemed smooth, but now when I launch, the patcher is continually dying with a "Critical Error" and for details it says: Unknown C++ Exception
It happens at random intervals during the process. It's happened as early at 7% in and as late as 73% in. (Thought I was really going to make it that time! :) ) I've posted on the official forums.. if anyone here has experienced this and knows a fix, please let me know. Thanks!

I'd suggest a re-install and make sure antivirus is disabled while installing. I'm not familiar with the issue though, since thats a fairly broad error. I think theres a separate Wish exe that does like a file system integrity check, you should try running that one maybe? I'm not SURE thats what it does but ifi t does it could solve your issue assuming some of the files are screwed up. (Then again so can a reinstall, up to you)

Yea, I may re-download the client a second time and do a checksum on the 2 files and then try a re-install... I had my AV software shut off when I did do the install, so I don't think it was that.. maybe the install I have was just corrupt or something. I'll give it another shot, Thanks!
