Since I live in the UK I'm still waiting for WoW. The game may suck, but I never let ANYONE else's opinion sway my choice, unless ALL the opinions are identical, and they ALL represent my particular playing style. As for new games, I'm following: Dnd Online, since it was ADnD that started me off in roleplaying. Middle Earth Online, since without LOTR there would probably never have been ADnD, and you get the chance to play a "real" elf. Those games however seem to have a hook because of their reputation. Whether they will offer something new I don't know which is why I am looking at games that are trying to be different, hence: Guildwars WISH Dark and Light so far...

I see some of you actually mentioned a single player game here... well, obviously you don't have Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing in your collection of games. If you did, you wouldn't need any other single player games. Fact: In the United States, 4% of all children are born with a heart defect. Fact: Only 1% of those has Ebstein's Anomaly. Fact: My daughter is in that 1%.

Wish looks absolutely incredible, and I am curious about GuildWars. But Wish is the one I am most interested in as GuildWars looks to be mostly instanced so I think it would limit your interaction with other players. thinks Well that might not always be a bad thing! LOL

UO was great, it had a great RP community, but it wasn't really... 'massive' EQ was pretty 'massive' (in a way) but had absolutley no RP... I think (hope) that Wish will have both. Started out in DAOC, great game up to 50 and once you get sick of rvr its over......... at least for me. Kinda got burned out. Wish and dark & light, although i have hopes for the d&d online Friends are really into Eve Online. Very cool game if your into flight simulation type stuff. dunno we will see.

All of the others suck. I sold my Eve Online account. Only because I needed a new computer. So I am hoping WiSH will come through for me. Looking forward to beta testing. WoW and EQ2 suck in my opinion. Vanguard is made by Microsoft so I think it will be good, but im not crazy about the whole archtype/class thing that Vanguard is all about. I like being able to progress my character in every direction possible if I so choose, like WiSH. I am kind of looking forward to getting my WiSH email as soon as I can. I missed out on the first beta stage (never went and downloaded) even though I signed up.
