I don't know but it seems this game is using te Unreal Engine 3, the same engine as MU2:

So what I want to say is that both games look similar in terms of visual, I wish LE used Unreal Engine 4 because the game would look much, much beter than any other current MMO, and also UE4 would decrease the procudtion time/costs due to its very easy development tools.

 

They took 3 years to develop LE so far? They coud take 1.5 year, 2 years at maximun to do the same using the Unreal 4.

it is because if they start with a new engine .they will have to start from scratch .

NCSoft licenses Unreal Engine 4. But we don't know if they planned to rewrite Eternal using UE4 or if they will only use it for other games.
