Sony Online Entertainment has released an in-development article on new vehicle variants for Planetside.  The article explains how the Deliverer APC will now sport different variants for each empire.  What is this you wonder?  Here is an example:

Bolstering the New Conglomerate's hard-hitting arsenal, the Thunderer is equipped with dual Gauss Cannons. These cannons are straight line-of-fire and have very limited explosion radii. The Gauss Cannon's small, concentrated blast makes even a near-miss heavily damaging to infantry.

The original Deliverer will still have favor left for players as it will be faster and more manueverable than its empire variants.

Also in-development is the new Fury ATV with its Hellfire Rocket Launcher.  This thing could potentially pack a lot of punch.
