SOE announced today that they will be increasing the level limit to BR23 as a reward to the PlanetSide community. Currently in development are cert costs re-adjustments for various weapons platforms, including reductions in cost for the ATVs and harrasser scout buggy. These changes appear to coincide with the upcoming release of Merit Commendations, of which there are reportedly 50 to earn and brag over, with more to come as the game continues its development. In the years since the War of Auraxis has began, soldiers from all Empires have proven their excellence in combat and advanced their cause through fierce combat. Many of these soldiers have reached the highest echelons of ranks and achievements, and battle on for the glory of their Empire and the adrenaline rush of deadly combat. In recognition of the ongoing struggle and achievement of these soldiers from all Empires, the Battle Rank system is being expanded to include another three levels of advancements. Starting January 17, soldiers will be encouraged to strive to reach Battle Rank 23, earning additional Certifications to further enhance their capabilities. The battle rages forth, Warriors. Maximize your versatility, status and value to the Empire. Battle Rank 23 is ahead. Don't let anyone stop you!
