Patch day! What did we get?

A new mech that takes advantage of 2 of the broken mechanics in the game; ECM and lagshield (the network code is the worst I have ever seen).

A new "module" (nothing that has ever existed in any Mechwarrior/Battletech game) to help counter ECM.... that doesn't counter ECM. At all.

A new paint scheme for your mechs! (for real world money only, of course!)

Oh, and getting disconnected (only happens every 4 or 5 games) now counts as a death.

That's it. After a full month of 3/4 of the players screaming for some kind of solution to the terrible network lag, the simply ridiculous ECM, and the complete and total disaster that is the weapon and chassis balance, they give us... more of the same.

Now they are locking threads and banning people who are complaining. One of the devs actually got on the forums and admitted that they've left their system wildly vulnerable to cheats and just stupidly designed. They use ping and time stamps to determine hits server-side, but the network code is so bad that your ping doesn't match your lag! So what you see isn't what the server is using to determine hits, and you can only guess at where you are supposed to aim.

I'm pretty sure that they have given up and are just milking whatever money they can out of the playerbase.
