Returning back several months later for a 2nd look, I was pleasantly surprised with the level of polish DP has received in such a short window of time. As it stands currently, firstly and most importantly the client seems very stable; after 6hrs+ of continuous game play not once has it crashed. Little animation quirks seem to have been polished and the gameplay now feels much smoother. The environment also looks quite rich and story line quest progression easy to follow (a few minor exceptions which I had to consult the web to continue but support mentioned that they'll be ironed out). Combat also feels more natural and the skill chaining adds more fun to what it feels like an attempt at loosely timed combos. I especially enjoyed the taming of endless variety of dragons which can then be trained to skill up for use in combat as pets and transportation. That is a blessing but also a curse in disguise. I found that flying high enough even on a rookie dragon, causes no aggro while in the air and mobs will never un-saddle you, even if they're many levels higher than you. Good for swooping attacks but feels like an advantage and not as satisfying. Finally not to forget the daily login rewards, which were very generous and the cash shop which doesn't unbalance the f2p scenario as much as to be noticeable. All in all, after raising an alt to the current limit, I found DP an entertaining little gem which kept me occupied and having fun non-stop. There are levelling dry spells and a bit of grinding but not excessive to hinder progress. There is a lot more to DP, like arena, events etc so give it a go and you won't be disappointed.
