potbelly writes: The same people that worked for SOE and ran this awesome game to extinction Now have full control as owners. Now it is simply cash cow to milk and scam as much from the few remaining die hard loyal players. Thu Oct 10 2013 3:39AM
Scottgun writes: Fun ship combat, but it has all-instance encounters that bore over time. The melee combat is like like a dog humping a leg. The community falls into two types: Jack Sparrow and Jack Aubrey (that the game is set in 1720 and not 1812 never seems to register). Sony Online Entertainment couldn't save it. Free-to-play-couldn't save it. It's a brilliant failure, but a failure nonetheless. Wed Jan 16 2013 11:47AM

Warmastermmo writes: PVP and Ship combat are the strengths of this game. I returned to the game after playing for a short time at launch. Vastly improved overall. Worth a look once it goes F2P. Graphics and Music are great! PVP sailing ship combat is the best out there. Player run economy is good, but could use some more players for marketplace competition. Port conquest gives higher level players a reason for staying. Fun overall. Try it. Something different and fun. Wed Nov 10 2010 9:10AM
