Scottgun writes: Fun ship combat, but it has all-instance encounters that bore over time. The melee combat is like like a dog humping a leg. The community falls into two types: Jack Sparrow and Jack Aubrey (that the game is set in 1720 and not 1812 never seems to register). Sony Online Entertainment couldn't save it. Free-to-play-couldn't save it. It's a brilliant failure, but a failure nonetheless. Wed Jan 16 2013 11:47AM
