Flying Lab Software has announced the start of the Pirates of the Burning Sea Welcoming Committee, a program which recruits volunteers to give aid and advice to new players.

I’m proud to announce the opening of the Pirates of the Burning Sea Welcoming Committee! The Welcome Committee is a subgroup of Boarding Party members who have volunteered to spend time helping out new players of their nation across all servers. You’ll typically be able to find them on the starting docks of your nation, or at your nation’s capital, and they’re designated by their title of “Welcome Committee”. Feel free to ask them any questions you may have about missions, about game mechanics, or for advice. Keep in mind that these are volunteer players, and so any issues you run into within the game should still be filed in a support ticket.
