The Pirates of the Burning Sea website has posted a link on the front page to a new interview at File Front.  According to the PotBS team, it is also a good introduction to the game.

Q: First things first, how would you describe Pirates of the Burning Sea? A: You are the captain of your own ship engaging in intense real-time naval battles, traveling the exotic world of the Caribbean in the eighteenth century, and seeking your fortune as a pirate, merchant, or naval officer, within a dynamic world of politics, economics, and war. Q: In its current form, what is your single favorite thing about Pirates of the Burning Sea? A: Naval combat is freaking amazing, and utterly unlike any other MMORPG. That said, the greatest joy I've had in the game comes from standing on the deck of my sleek ship, cutting through the wind, as the sun sets over a tropical island. The feeling of immersion you can have in our game is a powerful experience.
