Your opinions seem very one sided.  How much time have you spent playing PoTBS?  I'm guessing none.  I tried out Voyage Century and thought it was ugly graphically and boring playwise.  I sincerely hope that PoTBS attempts to be a very different game from VC.  Very different.

What are you talking about? P2P games are always better than the free ones. Not to mention, you haven't even played this game yet because its still in beta. You have no basis for comparison.

Love the MMORPG concept, but sick to death of M.M.O. Repetitive Pointless Grinds..
I've been playing Voyage Century for about a month now. It is a neat little game for being free, and I definately recommend it to anyone who's really bored.

That said, it's also pretty weak in a lot of ways. Lots of features, but with a distinct lack of attention to detail, an obvious low budget title that really needs to use the free-to-play item mall model, because it'd never float, if players had to pay for it.

As I just posted over in the VC forums, I don't think Flying Labs has anything to worry about, as far as competition goes. POTBS will appeal to a whole different sort of audience - players who'll be happy to pay for a much higher quality game, for one thing.

I'd even go so far as to say that VC may be helping POTBS, by warming the market up to the theme of the game. A lot of people are probably put off by the diversion from orcs and elves, but having given the free to play game a shot, since it was free and all, realize that it can make for pretty good gameplay. If only someone would do it seriously, rather than the shoddy little game that VC is. Enter POTBS.

If you said that VC is laging what did you said about POTBS who have a more detailled ship with crews??

Im bored to see bad MMORPG like Vanguard where no one can play without lagging a lot.
Company didnt respect customer to put their lagged game in the market. They want one thing, your money.
Then dont speak to me about company game.

I think POTBS is going to lag a lot too.
VC isnt lagging but Potbs have better feature game..

In reality you know ,i will like to see POTBS with a good performance, no bug, good econimic, good PVP, good customized character and ship.. .

But im not sure we will see a good game.

 Im like a bird in the sky...

I am presently Playing VCO - It does indeed have its faults but by and large it is a pretty entertaining game. I followed POTBS for a long time ANd would like to try it but TBH I grew a bit tired of waiting for it to be published.

VCO is a port of an older Chineses game - the translations are horrible (sometimes amusing but sometimes bothersome)

I play VCO for a timekiller while waiting for Warhammer to come out

POTBS looks great - I would like to try it out

I'm thinking that this is shameless attempt to spam your own game because you're too stingy to fork out any money on an advertising budget, me i'll be trying POTBS and avoiding Voyage Century because even the name says pointless Korean/Asian MMO wanna be
