Anyone else tried Pirates recently? I played it for 5 levels last night and was surpised at how fun it was. The whole ship combat thing is so different, I found it refreshing.

I have played it twice since release.

1st right after 6 months of beta testing it and got to max level in beta but quit at lvl 35

2nd time I got to lvl 35 and quit again.

I get bored playing, its a fun game but I can only play it so long till I get bored.

It is a refreshingly different 1720's ship combat mmo but the majority get bored after a few weeks due to lack of live events, endgame balance or depth.

It's the kinda game that would be very popular if it was casual F2P but does not yet have quite enough to justify longterm $15/ month sub imo.
