In game money is barely used, repairs only, everything you need, or better would want to progress in the game is from your wallet. What a shame, I wanted to like this so much. *UPDATE* You owe it to yourself to go check out Path Of Exile http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/747/Path-of-Exile.html 1 minute in this game, you will never even think about Drakensang again. Raserei writes: The game is ultra cash shop heavy. The game mechanics and item system is very simplistic and the classes are bland with no customization. Not worth investing any money on the game but since it's ultra cash shop heavy, it's not even worth the time investment to try it free. Tue Jan 31 2012 1:21PM

But browser aside it's not the most engrossing game I've played but since it't 1) free, 2) presumably can run on any hardware platform it's pretty impressive. A simple, fun, multiplayer game with no install required :) What's not to like? Wed Jan 25 2012 9:22PM

To the 2 char types at the start - as it is beta you have limited types 1 fighter & 1 MU but if you look they have spots for 2 more types once it goes live. I'm guessing another fighter (rouge or archer) and somekind of MU. This game is just like the older boxed version of the SPG Drakensang. As such it's kind of a fun hack & slash game. Some standard fetch and carry quests, some a little more interesting. I gave it a low graphics number more from the sameness of how your's and all the rest of the characters look, seen one, seen them all. You can do different hair and body style but as it's a 3rd person view you don't get to see any of that. World view is very nice with a variety of terrian. It is a themepark with a scripted path you'll take through your adventure. Sound is way down from the music in the original or even the test based version of the original. Still has bugs in chat and some of the attack buttons but all in all a nice mindless game to kill time with. Sun Dec 04 2011 12:29PM
lalartu writes: For a browser game, it's revolutionary, but for an MMO...well it looks and feels like a lagging and simple version of Diablo. The mechanics are similar, but the fact that this is a twitch based game, makes lag ruin a lot of fun. Also, I would think that excluding a rogue class from the class selection is almost heresy. As of now, you can only choose two classes (warrior and mage) and it really limits the fun/gameplay. Maybe in time this game will be quite entertaining, but as of now, I only use it as a time waster during lunch hours at work... Sun Nov 20 2011 11:22AM
