PRICELESS...

Made me remember how much I enjoyed all of the Diablo II in-game cinematics. Can't wait :)

Most things I've seen about D3 have turned me off (killing customization with stats and skills was the biggest turn off...creatures with cartoonic proportions compared to D2), but this is a great cinematic. The dark and gritty feel of D2 I had felt was a little too missing, but with every update they seem to be getting it a little closer.

I think you'll be pleased with the changes they've made to skills and runes in the long run.  The kind of customization available now is a whole lot less about 1% here or there, and a whole lot more about taking a spell like Fireball, adding acid damage, explosion, and raining chickens to it (made up example, but not far off).

In short, you sacrifice min-maxxing for overall a whole lore more customization in skill loadouts and just how skills actually work.

Diablo isnt an mmorpg, therefore posting this on mmorpg.com is invalid and void and take away anykind of epicness from this cinematic.

You know what was pure win?

My "mandatory ad" to get to watch that nice trailer was a Skyrim trailer ad.

Double rainbow!

Right just like Starcraft 2 was going to be the second coming. Activision's stink was all over it's development. Why should I be excited about Activision's D3?

Starcraft 2 made Blizz shit load of cash and thats what matters. Did i say D3 is second coming? i am talking purely about success on basis of sales.

Reading comprehension please.

Heh , cinematics is good and all , but in the end I just hope this won't be another "SoJ" economy and where only 4-5 pieces of equipement dominates over all the rest.  That's what pretty much killed D2 , oh and did I mention botters / duppers?  We all know Blizzard makes awesome Cinematics and with all due respect they should work on doing a full lenght movie instead of working on games. When I see the time span between D2 and D3 and I see more cinematics instead of a actual release date, my hype level just keeps falling.  When it does release I will get myself a copy , but I'm not hype enough to wait in line or getting it the first day of release , maybe a week or 2.

You do know Blizz did SC2 for the Koreans since they host tournaments for Star Craft 1. Also, sales for  SC2 in north america / europe wasn't all that to be smilling about. But in Asia the game did sale like crazy and still in BO (Back order). Unlike here where every store is overstocked on Sc2 since no one is buying it. So yea Blizz did make a load of cash off SC2 but thanks to Asia , not to N/S America / Europe.

Where they made money from is irrelevant as long as they made it. For a seller all customers are equally important no matter where you are from.

All that matters to me is that there is currently  8,577 SC2 players online (EU and 14,569 worldwide) @ 10pm on a Tuesday, most MMO for scream for numbers like that.

Even the cinematics seem better suited to the WarCraft universe and franchise.

It's beautiful and epic and everything, but the atmosphere of Sanctuary just seems so absent from everything about Diablo III.
