I called and the queue was so long they told me to call back another day. Such BS!

I put in a ticket. On the second day I got a reply giving me instructions on how to get a refund. Happy times yay!

D3 is a good, above average singleplayer/coop game, everything about the game was known before the release (just like about every MMORPG some fools cry about), there's absolutely no need for refunds. It's like asking refunds for Modern Warfare, if you buy it you know what's in the box, if you dont know, the fault is yours.

perhaps gamestop just spoiled me, seeing as they encourage you to trade in and refund games you don't like...  I just don't to continue playing a game I don't find enjoyable, I went back to playing D2 for a few days and still think THAT game had waay more to offer which why I want a refund

I love the people playing through the entire game multiple times, obviously getting burned out, and then trying to get a refund... lol... and they say hardcore players are the most loyal playerbase, what BS.

As far as everything about the game being known, how far into the game did you get in the beta?  Oh when was the last Diablo released?  Comparing a game series that gets released as an iteration of itself yearly to one that  had a decade gap in between releases is a little far-fetched.

Thats basically exactly what i was thinking..

I am pretty sure the OP would have known he didnt like the game after the 1st day of playing... hell it took me the beta weekend to realise i didnt want to buy D3 as I found POE 100x better..

 

To wait nearly 30 days and then go yeah actually i want my money back because i didnt like it is a bit silly.. your probally completed numerous times with different characters in the time..

 

I really think with refunds of this nature there needs to be a technical reason for the re-fund..

 

but im sure blizzard dont care about handing out a few as they have sold millions LOL..

Here is the thing though. In Blizzard's policy is there a 30 day return? I don't care what cafe or resteraunt analogy you can come up with. Do those resteraunts have a 30 day return policy? 

NO.

He could have spent every waking hour playing that game, punched in a ridiculous amount of time, and so long as he created his ticket before 30 days of the game being in his possesion, it's in Blizzards own policy.

It isn't like he was trying to get Blizzard to make an exception for him, he used Blizzard's own policy. 

I really think it's a good way to vote with your wallet. What's worse? Not buying a game, or demanding a refund after it didn't meet expectations...

I didnt play the beta. I knew I get a new Diablo that plays close to like the old ones with some changes and tweaks here and there. And I wasnt wrong, I feel like I play the old diablo but with pretty graphics, nice physics, better gameplay since I get to use more abilities at any time, but a char progress system that can be arguably worse, or better, depending on personal preference. I actually find the game too much similar to the old ones, I would have liked to see a bit more change, and most whines I hear is about the game not being enough similar to the old Diablos, seriously?

ha ha that is hilarious. Sad and true. we might have to bring out the old board games and just kiss off any creative games these days. (Sad Panda)

I played the BETA(demo) and knew I didn't like it, hell even from video footage I felt subconsciously that something is wrong with it... I finished the beta with 1 character and thats it never touched it again, im not even feeling like trying out the pirated versions I just cant enjoy what blizz has made this time. Similar games would be Torchlight 2, which I also BETA tested, and it was much better, though I was severely disappointed when they stated that was one third of the game, so I might ditch buying that. Im now planning to buy Krater which is extremely fun and I play it a lot, just have to wait for some glaring problems being fixed, since its riddiculously annoying to play it right now but I still enjoy, it regardless these annoying issues.

I went over the last couple responses to this issue, and I'm sorry for the responses recieved here. The game is still eligible for refund, and as such I've started that process for you order. Please give this 3-10 business days to go through and you'll see the money back on your account.
