Outside of those really good items, everything else is probably worth less than 1 dollar to most people.  But I don't even think you can list items for under 1.25 or something, which pretty much removes the real money market for 99% of in game items.

It seems like blizzard is just completely unrealistic when it comes to pricing.

Well, they live in California and they're multi-billionaires.  I don't expect them to remember much about pricing for the "ordinary folk."  After all.....most of us are the 99 percent.....they're not.

This RMAH thing is not the reason I decided to take a pass on this game, the beta reviews are, however....it definitely played a part.  So after having thoroughly enjoyed Diablo 1 and D2 LOD Online, I am now passing on this de-Diabloized game.  Maybe I'll change my mind if stellar reviews arrive post launch, and yes, I mean on this site.  The reviews here tend to be on the harsh side (for forum members) and on the more positive side for staff.  I take both, put them in a blender, and call it good.  So we'll see if I end up playing.  I hope to, but I don't want another pale reflection of what a game COULD have been. No thanks.

Not allowing a "cash out," so to speak, just keeps more of the money in Blizzard's pockets.  Not hard to understand why they'd want some restrictions.

Well

You have Torchlight 2

Its at least as good as D3

Most reviews done on this site about diablo 3 have been utter crap. Most thoughts and opinions were extremely vague and left upto interpretation.  The majority of the 'opinions' only compared to what D3 is not, not what it is. Sure this site is harsh on reviewing games, however most of those harsh reviews are bias and have alot of misinformation.

I've countered 90% or more of the harsh 'reviews' only to have the person completely ignore my point or abandon ship altogether.

Best way to know if you like the game is to try it. Diablo 3 will have a starter edition, you can play free upto level 20. Your character locks at that point but if you like the game it'll unlock if you buy it.

I don't think that will be the opinion for most D3 purchasers.

They'll tweak the drop rate when they need money, there is fine line between   gaming .  and    banking

Could it that the combination of those two word is  ganking ?

Diablow 3, it sucks ...

That really beats me ....

Good I hope the prices are low , I'll probably be buying gems mainly because they will take far too long to make myself.

Then I can easily farm inferno and sell the junk to you n00bs for $5- 20  each  ,  and the cream of the loot for $50+
