Lets face it, is $60 really worth a box, manual and some key that leads to a game of which we haven't really seen yet? I mean ya we've seen it but we really haven't seen it. We got some short short beta demo thing is pretty small compared to what Diablo 3 is supposed to be. How can I justify such a hefty cost without something more?

So I looked to other solutions, like a digital copy? Well what the heck all i get is a key for the same price.. that is such a rip off. I really feel I should get a discount for the box I won't receive! I mean sure it may get smashed at some point or even eaten by my dog or child but that should be my mess to clean up. 

So really i've come to the conclusion I just won't buy Diablo 3, instead I'll get the 'Diablo 3: CE' because the box is just so much prettier. I mean the collectors edition gives diablo 3 that oomph to be a better game and for just $99.99.. such a steal. I mean seriously having Diablo's skull whisper sweet nothings in your ear makes you wanna jump all over the game.. what a ride that will be.  If that isn't enough for ya and you just need that old girlfriend feel, insert your soulstone into the usb port and release diablo 2 in its fullest. 

The best part of it all, it'll take 4 months game time off my annual pass.. what a deal. I sure showed blizzard, I got around that crappy $60 price tag.

I don't frequent GW2 forums or topics so i have no idea and i would never pay what they want on that CE.

never mind i read it my bad...i personalyl will be waiting at the doors ont he 15 and running for a collectors edition at wal mart then if none there future shop...would prefer future shop cuz they are giving away a free steelcase to the first 10 in the door.

While I won't be buying D3, I do really enjoy the threads where the title is essentially the opposite of what is in the post.   Makes it so much easier to see who read the post, and who just read the title.

OP when you finally make $60 in the RMAH, can you get me a copy of Diablo3?

I'm actually very excited.  My partner's not a gamer.... at all.

I played the Witch Doctor video for him, and now he wants me to pick him up a copy as well.

I'm trying to figure out if I should get him a CE as well, but I tend to be the one that gets all excited for that kind of stuff.

While a digital copy should be cheaper than a box  that would kill all the game stores still around and I think that would be pretty sad. After all is it a rather nice feeling to spend a while in the store and may7be finding a new interesting game i never heard about before.

Ya i used to enjoy looking at boxes in stores, getting it and bring it home to play for the first time. While i still would like to do that.. its just much cheaper to buy from eretailers.
