So essentially all one team has to do is camp the primary chamber on startup and rape the other two while one or two people ferry relics back to your base.

Then after 6minutes you hardcore-entrench yourself in your base dominating the match before they have a chance to break through your defenses?

Sounds like a premade group's wet dream. Not mine mind you :|.

How long has this been in development for?  Seems like very poor quality compared to other MOBAs.  Smite looks 100x better.

They blew it when they didn't go with daoc rvr plain and simple, no matter all the bugs at start, no matter the lag, if the game had that in it, people would have waited out even all these issues for the hope of a true game of daoc. They refused, they paid the price for not listening to the fanbase. Simple case of SOE arrogance.

edit; that was a pun on how they followed SOE's way of thinking in the day is my point :) sorry should have been a bit more clear.

Chaintm summed it up perfectly.  The pride, ignorance, and arrogance, that goes along with some of these mmorpg companies just floors me.

The Warhammer folks, like the Conan and Lord of the Rings people, beat their chests while the ship sank - beat them at the masses of people that said to take the game to the level that Dark Age was.  They closed threads, ignored every request, even as the water rolled over their faces.

The fact that EA bought Daoc and buried it, not even letting it have a new server per the request of the majority fan base, just to try to force players to move to Warhammer - is just disgusting.  But I guarantee they are paying the price for their arrogance. And when Elder Scrolls Online releases, directed by Matter Furir from the early Dark Age days, then we will at last have our three realm medieval mmorpg with ZERO mirrored classes and totally unique factions - three...that is.
