To say a studio makes crappy games is a long shot especially for cryptic. I've played sto and for the most part was pleased with how well it was done. If you want to disect the money put into the game or how why and what people were thinking when they played it that's your business. Generally when I comment on a game it isn't how drunk you get or how acid bahed you get or how much money you spent from playing it but rather on the game's mechanics and playability in my opinion. Sto had many great aspects from a design point of view.  By this I mean the overall game design, concept, and artwork.. which leads to playability. After playing sto for so long it later became apparent that after all missions were done the only thing you were doing were torchlight quests with not so inventive daily beam down missions while waiting for a group to defeat the raid areas all while waiting for other race content while looking at repetitive artwork. Yes alot of games have reptitive pratically all mmo's have a very limited use of artwork and rely on the reuse of it to expand content! I will give credit to cryptic in the fact that they added things you could do as opposed to wow for example that only knows how to add more raids and zones. Cryptic added many things such as expanding your ship to not just the bridge, customizing and creating content, mini games and much much more then many mmo's have never done. Every game has it's own distinction. While I enjoyed sto online I don't think I will find enoyment in neverwinter for the simple fact that I'm not into instanced fantasy style mmo's. That would be like taking wow and instancing everything from the shops in the main cities to each sub area within a zone. With all this instancing going on you might as well put a invisable wall seperating your upper torso from your your lower! If they wanted to make a game with replayability they would have done it and have spent alot more time making the game before relasing it. Am I just talking about neverwinter? who knows. But I am no game or forum expert, what do I know.

Too bad mmorpg doesn't have a cash shop for me to purchase some new eyeballs after trying to read that.

1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.

2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.

I don't know, but you should use paragraphs and capital letters.

This isn't very clear, and totally getting derailed. Try again, with paragraphs, perhaps?
