Watching the PAX interview video the 'quickbar' at the bottom of the screen looked like the one in DIablo III (4 slots, a left mouse button slot and a right mouse button slot) PLEASE tell me they are not going with this. you will obviously have many more then 4 actions. Its horrible in DIII

its a dungeon game is it not? you dont need more than that. or in d3 and other action rpgs for that matter.

Did you ever see the first NWN? you had 2 12-slot Quickbars and that, was still not enough. So they give a wizard in D3 with a multitude of spells and you only need 4? Not everyone is "swing sword here"

This is Neverwinter not NWN. If you watch the gameplay video the game is based a lot on hack & slash games and you need to aim to do stuff. Also the wizard has been more than fine with a couple of spells in many hack & slash games I've played.

If you see no good or you see no bad in a game, chances are you are bias. |

A lot of spells in DnD is pretty Monotonous. In an action game, it would be more so an annoyance then something fun to play.
That being said, I don't mind if they did expand it out to provide more spells and abilites for someone to use. Its always possible that things such as buffs adn the likes are handled passively to save on the hassel. |
