The latest State of PvP note has been posted on the WildStar site that informs players of some significant changes coming to the game. Beginning on March 16th, all players will be merging to PvE servers to foster a more vibrant community for all players, PvP players included.
To help facilitate open world PvP, Carbine is introducing new bonuses for participation that are already in place with more yet to come. For instance, if flagged for PvP when questing, creatures killed will provide XP and will reward Prestige and additional gold. The PvP flag UI has also been improved to show expiration, etc.
Over time, new quests will be added that will take players across the game world and that will require PvP flagging in order to complete. Rewards will largely be PvP-based and worthwhile even for those who generally do not participate in PvP.
