Originally posted by Sector13 You think you would quote Nadya then considering the post was made over a page ago instead of just posting that post directed at TERA fans as a whole underneath the posts of two, apparent TERA fans.
Beat around the bush more. |

Just so I don't become what I laugh at on the TERA forums let me say this: If I was looking for a F2P game I would look at RaiderZ first. Action combat makes playing much more fun and darn it, if only I could get an alpha key I would love to test it and at least be a bug hunter until May. Just not worth my time anymore. |

Originally posted by Deron_Barak I don't have a problem with RaiderZ either, it's good for what it is, but this thread is about comparing TERA and Raiderz...more or less.
So obviously I come in with my obvious points of why I believe TERA is a far superior game, doesn't mean RaiderZ is bad. |

Originally posted by Sector13 I am just having fun doing exactly what you do on the TERA forums, starting to see why you do it.
Bash the game, someone calls you a troll, defend yourself outright that you don't hate the game etc.
See the similarities here? Just reversed roles. |

Originally posted by Velera I have to agree with Velera, the animations were pretty clunky and felt like a robot and the reactiveness in abilites is hands down poor. To me the game screams budget and the fact that I could only stand about 10 levels before getting off does not peek my interest either. Now I played Tera as well and felt that it was a overall better game. The quests are similar but the way they are presented in RaiderZ is a bad choice. I also agree with the comment about the hybrid class system. It feels like they opened it up to be original but instead feels like a ticket out of having to make the classes too deep. Tera has it's downfalls too, but I think Raiderz is a step in the wrong direction. |

Originally posted by Sector13 Nope, that's why I came here in the first place and found the lovely article. So to answer you next question: there is no secret MMO money tree. A company like PWE is not going to place as much funding and resources into a game MADE for F2P. No smart company ever will. Aside from the finge, the most your going to hear is "it's a great game...for a F2P title". That aside I still want to play it. Once I do I will give a 100% honest comparison and it won't have blue intro sentences. Just not worth my time anymore. |

Originally posted by Deron_Barak I prefer Vindictus myself, don't see why people are so hard up over "open world". Open world has much more draw backs then it does benefits compared to dungeon runners. |

Originally posted by Sector13 I'm one of those open world guys. I guess I'm still that fantasy nerd who gets into the emmersion part. I want a world I can "live in" a few hours a night and feel like I'm a small part of a bigger story. I just don't get that with "hub" games, even GW bothered me. Feels too much like a console game. Just not worth my time anymore. |

i agree open world and dungeon crawlers feel completely different. games like dragon nest vindictus and c9 reminds me of diablo which open world gives off the feeling of wow, everquest, ff11 etc... if you can compare the recent f2play games c9 feels like much more well thought and made than raiderz by far if you played both games. although you can "freely" choose your skills alot of them dont go well together really and you feel a lack of skills to use compared to other games. combat seems it didnt change much from lvl 5 to lvl 25 just dodge click dodge click tera feels much more complete, those of you who say raiderz's quest system is better you obviously havent played through the quest line in tera it utilizes alot more options and different types of quests than raiderz. |
