There is nothing to indicate that this would ever happen, as Trion knows that there will be folks who only play the game, and folks who only watch the show - it would be beyond stupid to penalize any specific audience.

Also the show could die in 6 months, and the game could go on for years... one can survive without the other. These questions were asked from the directors and game devs, so this is known info.
