That's a really good deal, I'm tempted, it has to be worth $14. No sub right?

I bought it, at that price I couldn't resist.  I'm a sucker for steam sales though, 1 day in and I've spent $35 so far.  I'm sure I'll be somewhere around $200-300 by the end.

It is fun for what it is but severely lacking in content.  For $14 I'd get it though.

LOL nice... i was just about to make this thread when I saw yours first :)

saves me from the fear of being banned for soliciting or something.

Yeah, I was always on the fence with Defiance.  I don't really dig the show that much too, but this sale is fantastic.  It's a steal.

I even bought the DDE version because $23 is also a steal.

I say do it.   No sub.  Cheap price.  If you(we) don't like it, it'll be like paying to see a bad movie.  not the end of the world.

I'd say at the current level of content and support, anything under $20 is a good price.  Now if they hired a better team and started pushing out fixes/content at more of a Rift level (Trion's other game), then the game would be worth a great deal more.

Don't get it....yet.

It will definitely get cheaper than $13.59, right now the vote is up for the next main deal, one of the options is Defiance @ 66% off, which brings it down to $10. So hold off just a bit. I am going to pick the game up too, I'm just waiting for it to drop to the right price

The game's fine. People nit pick every game to death. For 14 dollars its def worth it. Plus when dlc does drop. A portion is always free. then theres cash shop and  such to buy if you choose.

I'll get it for that price. My daughter has been bugging me to pick up Left4dead 2 for 5 bucks so I might as well pick Defiance up too.

Like anything that ends with the question "should I do it?" the only answer is to put a condom on (or gloves depending on what namely you're doing) and follow the famous words of a man who got taken to court:  "DO IT! DO IT NAOW!"

At that price, go for it.  For what it is, it is a pretty fun game.

What are you talking about it is at 66% off at 13.59. This is the steal price for the game, it will not get cheaper. I grabbed it yesterday and have already enjoyed it for a handful of hours, so if I stop I feel like I already have gotten my money out of it... I will admit recently catching the show on a marathon run I watched a few episodes and it made me wanna try it out. hah

it'll give you 3 weeks to a month of fun which is about a sub price, so go for it.

really great game but like all the other games that have come out the past 2 years....old after 30 days. Enjoy it though, it is a blast the first few weeks.

its a nice pick-up game. hop on, run'n'gun some dungeons, or just wander the world killing baddies, or join a Shadow War or even a PvP instance.

then hop out an hour later to play something else.
